At the end of my walk, I walked by the Mini-Mart and they were shoveling. The neighboring vacant spaces, whatchamacallit Arcade is never shoveled. Little secret, the Atwells Mini Mart people own that space now. Prov Mart across the street did a spectacular job shoveling during the last storm, even during the Sunday follow-up to that storm, their sidewalk was clear throughout. So I've been going there a lot lately, they also have a better ice cream selection.

I, too, live off Atwells on one of the larger streets/alleys and the plow went down my street several times and it was completely clear. I even witnessed them taking lots of time to carefully clear the whole intersection of Dean and Federal Streets.

I like the picture of Sona. They never clear their sidewalks, and when they do, it's only the Atwells sidewalk and never the Dean one. The Bombay Club does a great job, but their neighbors, the St. Joseph Health center or elderly home or whatever it is never clears their sidewalks.

And the one place that tons of people walk to, the Atwells Mini Mart, does a terrible job with snow clearing.

Ugh, the snowplow went down my <s>street</s> alley AGAIN (literally 10 times now) and they piled all the snow back up on my sidewalk. What the hell, the street was clear, the sidewalk was clear, life was good.

Thanks for posting! I live off of Atwells, but work downcity and was wondering how it was going up there today... It's also good to know who takes care of his or her sidewalk when I'm deciding which stores and restaurants to patronize.
