I didn’t know you could get THAT at the Flea Market!

The Providence Journal’s front page today had a story about 18 arrests made in an effort to clean up a “criminal enterprise” in Rhode Island. Later they followed up with blog posts about more arrests having to do with organized crime.

Providence has had a reputation for a long time as being overrun with corruption and organized crime. It’s refreshing to see such a sweep across the state; putting some long overdue closure to what is hopefully a phase that has passed.

Do you feel like Providence is still full of corruption? Feel free to keep your comments anonymous.

  1. Do you feel like Providence is still full of corruption?

    Yes.

But I’ve been very pessimistic of late.
