Greater City Providence

Quick! Buy bread!

2008-1218_snow

Heavy snow tomorrow, snow showers Saturday, wintry mix Sunday! Buy bread and don’t get on any school buses. I hear Carcieri is at Penny’s right now buying a flannel shirt.

  • According to the ProJo, the city of Providence has already issued an on-street parking ban for tomorrow and schools in the city have been closed tomorrow. Looks like the Mayor is hoping for a debacle-less Friday.

  • So was the utter gridlock and running of red lights this evening somehow related to a snow storm that hasn’t happened yet, or are Rhode Island drivers assholes.

  • if it is any consolation, 95 was a parking lot for miles and miles tonite around 7:40 and it was all trucks, and no snow.
