Greater City Providence

In Like a Lion

In Like a Lion

This morning we had a quick blast of very slippery slush. Tomorrow though, the apocalypse is coming. I’m hearing reports of up to 15 inches of snow!

Dear Mother Nature:
I would be pleased to not have to go to work tomorrow.

  • I had to go out and buy a shovel today because the old shovel (and by old I mean the shovel that my grandfather got when he was a child, clearly) broke in the last “storm.” There was definitely some price gauging at the hardware store, though. The cheapest shovel was $25. I bought it and didn’t complain because the hardware store is local. Well, I didn’t complain at the store.

  • I may have to be an asshole, and not clear my sidewalk til later. It figures, the biggest storm of the year hits right when I have the flu really bad. Anyone wanna come shovel for me?

  • Well, Jen’s bragging about her new shovel, so I imagine she’d like to shovel for you.
