Last week New York’s High Line Park opened to the public. Here’s a couple videos about the High Line, one from Wallpaper* Magazine:

The other from New York Magazine:

It would be wicked pissah to have something like this in Providence, right? Right.

  • To be honest, it’s nice, but doubt its sustainability. Plus, it’s a walking park. There isn’t going to be much sitting and relaxing up there. It’s a nice addition, to be sure, but it’s not the be all end all, by any means.

  • We should get something like that with the Washington Bridge linear park, no?

Also we don’t have any el lines. Maybe we could have a fungus park through the rail tunnel. Now that would be something.
