  • Notice the most exaggerated movement occurs as a subway train passes. When you’re sitting in stopped traffic on that bridge, you feel your car bounce along with the movements. On the rare occasions when Newport Bridge traffic stops you can feel the same thing. Maybe it’s not that scary, just the nature of suspension bridges.
