(Downcity) Why does the city continue to allow abandonment or de-mapping of city streets to private interests? Is it to provide private parking spots for company heads? It isn’t as if Walnut Street is next to a stock exchange or Federal Reserve Bank that might warrant abandonment due to security concerns.
