Greater City Providence

Wet

So this is beyond rain, I think we need a new word for this.

We’d like to know what is going on where you are. If you have photos, please share them in our Flickr Group or email them to us.

Stay safe everyone!

  • Kinda makes me glad I didn’t decide to rent at Rising Sun. I’ll see if I can get out to take some pics of Pleasant Valley Pkwy this afternoon. It was near flooding when I was by it this morning.

  • Flooding will likely get worse though. Tide is on the way up and the rivers will be backing up behind the rising tide. Don’t know where PVP drains to, Woonasquatucket?

  • It’ll be interesting tomorrow. It’s supposed to continue raining tonight.

I think we should call it monsoon season.

  • I have no idea where the PVP drains or starts. Normally, there’s only a couple inches of water in it. It was lower this morning than last night.

    Call it Armafloodden.
