PROVIDENCE TOMORROW

1. College Hill, Wayland & Fox Point and Waterfront Neighborhood Plans
Vote by Commission members regarding the development potential of the “Shooters” site based on the approved neighborhood plans including an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to prohibit residential use on the parcel. No additional public comment will be taken – for action. (Fox Point)

ZONE CHANGE

2. Referral 3326 – Petition to amend the Zoning Ordinance for inclusion of a new W-4 district and to change the zoning of certain parcels from W-3 to W-4
The petitioner requests that the Zoning Ordinance and corresponding Zoning Maps be amended to describe and depict a new W-4 (Working Waterfront Protection) district. Also requested is the addition of certain uses including but not limited to commercial, retail, cultural and recreational in the W-3 zone.
The changes will affect Articles I, II, IV and X of the Zoning Ordinance. – for action. (Upper, Lower South Providence and Washington Park)

CITY COUNCIL REFERRAL

3. Referral 3324 – Petition to abandon a portion of Briggs Street
Petition to abandon the portion of Briggs Street east of Eddy Street – for action. (Lower South Providence)

ZONE CHANGE

4. Referral 3327 – Petition to change the Zoning of Lot 892 on Assessor’s Plat 80 from R-2 to C-2
The petitioner requests that the zoning of Lot 892 be changed from R-2 (Two Family Residential) to C-2 (General Commercial). – for action. (Manton)

5. Referral 3325 – Petition to change the zoning of Lots 340 and 352 on Asessor’s Plat 26 from R-G to C-2
The petitioner requests that Lots 340 and 352 (76-92 Dean Street) be changed from R-G (General Residence) to C-2(General Commercial). – for action. (Federal Hill)
