Hilarious! You know, when I lived on Broadway until recently, about 50% of the time I’d give someone my address, they would ask “Broadway Street or Drive?” Seriously, have you never heard of a street called “Broadway” before?
I was once traveling in the small burg of Thermopolis, Wyoming. I laughed at the rubes, for they, in their ignorance, had a “Broadway Street.” Well, who is the rube now?
If one were to peruse http://cityof.providenceri.com/ and look through the property assessments page http://providence.ias-clt.com/parcel.list.php , you will find there’s a listing for ‘Broadway St’…. and several properties listed on there not found under the more appropriate ‘Broadway’ field.
