Providence 4th of July 2011 festival and fireworks at India Point Park

Providence is gearing up for another 4th of July celebration on the waterfront at India Point Park.

First, on July 1st see the The United States Airforce Band at the Skating Center in Kennedy Plaza:

The United States Airforce Band of Liberty brings its musical message of pride, patriotism and professionalism to kick off the City’s Independence Weekend Celebration.[/alert]

Then Monday, its time for fireworks!

The RI Philharmonic Pops take the stage to perform patriotic standards followed by the state’s most spectacular fireworks display (9pm) to close out the BankRI Independence Day Celebration[/alert]

The BankRI Independence Day Celebration is presented by the City of Providence and sponsored by Bank RI, Department of Art Culture + Tourism, Department of Parks & Recreation, Lite Rock 105, RI Monthly and Providence/Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau.
