That said, the ITS style systems now are more interesting. They can sense traffic flow and use logic to vary timing and make it a more demand based system.
In fact all along Broadway we now have ITS style lights. And they ALL talk to each other. On some controller boxes you can see the little stub antenna on the top of them.
