  • former Rhode Island Department of Transportation Headquarters and Garage
  • Roger Williams Park Seal House
  • Ward Baking Company Administration Building

  • If I ever hit the lottery (I suppose I’d have to play to do so) I’d buy 299 Broadway first, then 514 Broadway. I’d restore both to original splendor.

    It would be a shame to see those torn down, especially 299 Broadway. I’ve always loved that building.

  • I had thought that some work was being done on the Arnold building… I guess not?

    This was the first I had read of the Victory Square Development project (in reference to the Ward Baking Company building). That kind of private life science development capitalizing on nearby hospitals and schools has been in New Haven for quite some time.

  • Jef, do you have any details on the proposed development of Victory Square? Where is everyone in the process at current? So curious!
