  • PBN: EDC approves bonds for I-195 land, dredging project

“With the bond approval, the I-195 Commission now has the financial ability to acquire the land and provide DOT with the ability to initiate the final and critically important phase of the I-Way project – reconnection of city streets and infrastructure,” said Colin P. Kane, chairman of the I-195 Commission.

“More importantly, we want to get shovels in the ground and cranes in the sky,” added Kane.

  • Weren’t they going to hire someone to, you know, manage this whole thing?

  • Seems the now-fired EDC board members have moved over to the I-195 commission. Another big bond sale, the insiders will again soon take their commissions and percentages, and nothing of substance will be achieved with what’s left. And how much will the principal and interest on the bonds cost the taxpayers? Oh, that’s right, the taxpayers don’t matter. Only in RI.
