Provision is a mealtime gathering of community members hungry for both delicious food and new creative projects. We offer a dining experience that includes homemade soup, bread, dessert, and entertainment – and the chance to democratically fund emerging projects in Rhode Island.
Our next Provision will be Sunday, July 15, at the Southside Cultural Center, on the corner of Bridgham and Broad Streets (393 Broad St., Providence, RI, 02907). There is off-street parking available in the lot behind Trinity Church.
Doors will open at 5:30PM, dinner will start promptly at 6PM. A vote + dinner = $10; beverages are available a la carte.
Visit our website to make an online reservation. We also will save a block of seats for folks who show up at the door on July 15. Arrive at 5:30PM if you do not have a reservation as remaining seats are first-come, first-served.
We are requesting a $10 donation per reservation for a vote and a meal made entirely from scratch by local chefs. Once food costs are covered, the rest of your donation goes directly to fund whatever project is selected at dinner. If you would like to donate more than $10, we and the proposer-s would appreciate the support! Seats are available at the door but seating is limited and reservations are recommended (plus they help us know how much food to make). Please reserve now!
We are using an online payment system to make sure we can collect the most funds for grantees. If you would like to make a reservation but paying online does not work for you, please contact us.
If you make a reservation but later realize you are unable to attend, please email us to let us know as someone else would like your seat. We regret that we cannot refund your donation.
Provision is organized by Neal Walsh, Jeremy Radtke, and Jori Ketten. If you are interested in joining our mailing list or in volunteering (helping with organizing, set-up, clean-up, cooking, promoting, or anything else), please contact us.
