Council Pushes for Greater Zoning Board Transparency

As part of the Providence City Council’s continuing efforts to make the City more transparent and accountable, Councilman Samuel Zurier (Ward Two), and Council Majority Leader Seth Yurdin (Ward One) introduced a resolution calling on Providence’s Zoning Board of Review to adopt written policies and procedures for all board functions.

  • Yeah – everything about zoning should be public record. I think the most eye opening experience I’ve had is going to a Zoning Board meeting for Cluck. That was interesting.
