WPRI: 3-year-old struck by motorcycle, hospitalized

walkinpvd-iconA young girl is in critical condition after she was struck by a motorcycle in a hit-and-run crash in Providence.

The 3-year-old was hit at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday on Gladstone Street. According to police, a motorcyclist hit the girl at a high rate of speed then took off.


Regardless of the headline, there was actually a person driving the motorcycle, the motorcycle did not rouse itself and run down the child.
