  • Anyone with day-time availability should come by St. John’s Park on Atwells & Vinton Streets at 12 PM for a Bike Newport-led ride through the West Side and downtown to the Park(ing) Day parklets. I sent some maps to Jef, and I’m sure he’ll be updating the website shortly to give people that information.

Bike helmets are required for the ride.

The bike ride will take about an hour, and will be at a leisurely pace. We’ll be offering everyone an apple at the end of the ride, just as a thank you from participant Fertile Underground for being a part of this.

Hope to see people out and ready to explore Providence!
