A car spun into a building and burst into flames at Broad and Homer streets Wednesday morning, and a pedestrian crossing the street to render aid was struck by another car, which didn’t stop.
There has been an alarming number of crashes involving pedestrians in the last few weeks; including in Providence, Dartmouth, Taunton, and West Greenwich.
Providence police say a 10-year-old boy and an adult family member were crossing Empire Street when they were struck by a car.
The Central Falls police are looking for the driver of a car who struck two people in front of the CVS Pharmacy on Broad Street April 12 and took off.
