ProJo: Westerly woman seriously injured when vehicle strikes her

walkinpvd-iconA pedestrian was struck and seriously injured at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, the Westerly police reported.

Officers responding to Oak Street in the area of Spuchy Drive found a woman, 35, lying in the center of the road.


The report states the victim was walking in part of the roadway. Oak Street in this location has limited sidewalks, some parts none, some parts only on one side.
