WPRI: Toddler, 2 adults struck in Pawtucket hit & run

walkinpvd-iconPolice are investigating a hit and run in which three pedestrians, including a toddler in a stroller, were injured Monday afternoon.

Police on scene told Eyewitness News it all started around 2 p.m. when a Honda Accord drove through a red light at the intersection of East and Middle Streets. The officer said a van – which had the right of way – then struck the car while driving through the intersection. The car spun out and hit three people on the sidewalk and a storefront before taking off from the scene.

It should say, ‘a driver operating a Honda Accord drove through a red light…’ The Honda did not propel itself of its own freewill through the light.
