  • Help me. Why are the height restrictions so low?

    This is an extension of Downcity and is not in a residential area.
    This is Providence, not Portsmouth.

  • This is actually a 120′ zone which would be ~12 floors (could probably squeeze in one more). Across the street towards the highway is 200′.

    I would speculate that the developer will be constructing this as wood over a concrete podium which is limited by building code (not zoning) to I think 75′.

  • Height is great.. but there are plenty of great cities around the world with lively short building areas
