WPRI: Pedestrian struck by car, thrown through store window in South Kingstown

walkinpvd-iconPolice say a 78-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a car and thrown through a store window in South Kingstown Thursday morning.

The woman was walking on the sidewalk in front of Zero Wampum Store on Old Tower Hill Road when she was hit by a vehicle pulling into a parking space in front of the building. She was pushed through the store’s front glass window and sustained severe leg injuries.
