Rendering of proposed Residence Inn Providence Airport in Warwick by Pinnacle Hotel Management
A Florida-based developer plans to erect a $30-million hotel with 140 rooms in the City Centre development near T.F. Green Airport, Mayor Joseph J. Solomon said Thursday.
Solomon and Doug Duba, of Pinnacle Hotel Management, jointly announced the project to build a Residence Inn By Marriot on Montebello Road in a news release.
The project area, where the developer has proposed construction of a six-story hotel, is an 8-acre site that already includes the Radisson Hotel and the former site of Legal Sea Foods, says the release.
The developer plans renovations to the existing Radisson hotel on Post Road, re-tenanting of the former Legal Seafoods location, and “substantial pedestrian-centric design elements.”
