I’d like to hear what transpired on the intermodal hub too. I’d point out we already have intermodal hub there called the train station, which provides passengers access to shelter, info, bathrooms, food, and also serves bus lines 50, 55, 56, 57, R though it could use a few more amenities like real time bus info, canopies to protect bus passengers waiting outside. Its disappointing RIDOT hasn’t done more of a public process with what they are doing in the area but we might find out more at the upcoming Transit Matters conference 6:30pm Tuesday evening at 10 Davol Square at which that group may present a real vision for how to use our rail infrastructure more successfully.
