Are they still on target? The site always looks deserted when i drive by. I figure its just the winter weather and work being done on the inside.

They are targeting moving in in May.
It looks really great as its the first thing you see when you’re taking the train into town.

It’s certainly a creative project. I think it could use some enhancments, however. I would like to see better street interaction. Doors that open on to the street itself as opposed to entrances facing the parking lot. Also, bigger windows. Also, maybe take a different approach to usage of space. The containers jut out on the sides from the upper floors. Yet, the lower floors have a smaller footprint. Because the overall footprint is less compact, developers have less land area to work with if they wanted to locate buildings next to the container building. I would think that a more compact size would be appropriate for residential applications to be able to fit more dwellings on a given area and thus provide an affordable housing option for potential residents.
