Visit more than 80 artists in five historic mills duringParticipating artists include sculptors, painters, printmakers, woodworkers, jewelers and metal workers, photographers, glass artists, ceramists, graphic designers, architects, and textile artists. The artists will be showing and talking about their work and several will be giving demonstrations of their processes.
Art Calendar Magazine included Pawtucket, Rhode Island in its list of the top 10 most artist-friendly locations in the nation. Pawtucket city officials and community leaders have supported the community’s many artists and arts organizations to the extent that the city has become a model for other communities planning to attract artists and arts endeavors.
Organized by the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative, open studios is the last of a month-long series of events taking place as part of the Pawtucket Arts Festival. open studios : pawtucket is open to the public free of charge and parking is available at all mill locations.
