This week Empire, Weybosset, Broad, and Dorrance Streets have been getting their final coats of pavement and the activity at PPAC Square has been fast and furious as crews race to finish work ahead of PPAC’s season starting.

The project will result in a number of traffic changes including two-way traffic on Empire and Weybosset Streets. Phase 3 of the project is hoped to begin next year and include rebuilding Emmett and LaSalle Squares and making Sabin Street and perhaps Dorrance Street (in front of the Biltmore) and Exchange Terrace two-way.
