UPDATED: 195 Redevelopment District Commission Meeting, 7/30

A meeting of the I-195 Redevelopment District Commission will be held at the office of Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, 315 Iron Horse Way, Suite 101, Providence, Rhode Island, on MONDAY, July 30, 2012, beginning at 5:00 p.m., for the following purposes:

The Commission updated their agenda for Monday’s meeting this afternoon.

Call to Order: The Chairperson

  1. Welcome by Chairperson: Chairperson Colin Kane.
  2. To approve the public and closed (if any) session minutes of the meeting held on July 9, 2012. (Tab 1).
  3. For an update on the Executive Director selection process.
  4. For an update regarding open space design from Bonnie Nickerson from the City of Providence Department of Planning and Development.
  5. For an update regarding open space public art from Commissioner Johnson.
  6. For an update on civil engineering activities and scope of work from John Chambers of Fuss & O’Neill.
  7. For an update and review of FY 2012 and 2013 budget for the District (Tab 2).
  8. Executive Session

  9. To consider and act upon such matters as may be considered at a meeting closed to the public pursuant to the Open Meetings Law, specifically matters permitted to be so considered under Rhode Island General Laws, Section 42-46-5(a) (the Open Meetings Law).
  10. Public Session

  11. Chairperson’s Report and Commission Workplan update.
  12. To establish an agenda for the next Commission meeting (August 20th).
  13. Vote to Adjourn.
