  • Jef – I have been looking on the PVD city website, and could find no information on this commission. I finally googled it today and find out there is a emeting in a few hours. Any way you can urge them to be better about putting up meeting for these types of thigns in an easy to find way?

    Thanks – Craig

  • Yes, we’ve discussed that and should double back around and complete our discussion. There is always issues with getting things on the City’s site. The meeting agendas are published on the Secretary of State’s website as are all other municipal meetings statewide. It is a little tricky to figure out, but you can parse various RSS feeds. This is the RSS feed for all Providence city meetings (not City Council though), which I have displayed in the sidebar here under City Meetings.

Also, BPAC meeting schedules will be posted here.

Oh, also, you can put the meetings on your calendar, we’ve settled on the 4th Monday of the month at 4pm at the City Hall Alderman’s Chamber. You can also contact Providence Planning or the City Office of Sustainability to confirm. There’s a few wrinkles to our schedule, for example we won’t be meeting in December as the 4th Monday is Christmas Eve.
