By the way, as of lunchtime, the building was gone. Johnson & Wales is projecting Mid-November 2013 as the completion date of their garage, which seems a really long time away to me for some reason.
That does seem like a REALLY long time to build a parking garage, even if the lower level is actual retail space.
Unless we have an unusually warm winter again, at this point or at least in the next couple of weeks (which is also very close to the holidays) they probably have to wait until March to pour foundations. That would be about eight months to construct the building. If the garage decks and ramps are pre-cast concrete, erection should be fairly fast. The completion date may not be that unreasonable, since the rendering shows a considerable amount of brick plus there is the ground floor retail.
