The R.I. Division of Purchases received six bids Friday from companies seeking to undertake rehabilitation work on the Cranston Street Armory on the city’s West Side.

There is a public meeting about the Cranston Street Armory on Monday, September 17th.
The Providence Preservation Society announced thier annual list of the city’s Most Endangered Properties this week.
The West Broadway Neighborhood Association (WBNA) announced last week that the State has pulled $3 million allocated for critical exterior repairs to the Cranston Street Armory.

Probably in the huge parking lot that’s about as large as the footprint of the building, between the Armory and the park. :-/ (It could be an extension of the park someday!)
