A Portsmouth woman was arrested and charged Sunday after an elderly woman was struck by a car and killed in the town.
According to Portsmouth Det. Lt. A.J. Bucci, Barbara Krensavage was driving north on Sea Meadow Court just before 3:30 p.m. when her car crossed into the southbound lane and struck a woman walking along the shoulder of the road.
One wonders what was it about this crash that made police decide that charges needed to be brought and that it was not just another, ‘tragic accident.’
