ProJo: Pedestrian killed in Cranston intersection Monday night

walkinpvd-iconA man was struck and killed Monday as he was trying to cross the Pontiac Avenue-Howard Avenue intersection at 5:10 p.m., the police said.

Lt. Alan Loiselle said Monday night that the police have identified the man, but his name was being withheld until the police had a chance to contact his next of kin.
