[alert type=”muted”]Agenda[/alert]
I’m assuming that the proposed expansion to the CCRI parking lot will be where the old Edmund W. Flynn Elementary School was although I heard it was demolished for women and infants parking but I got that info from some random student. Either way It’s terrible to see my college have un-environmentally friendly transportation policy. The trolley that goes directly to the Liston campus stops running at around 6:30 pm which isn’t a problem unless it’s raining or really cold. What they should be doing is reducing the amount of parking or at least consolidate there parking to a parking garage WITH RETAIL ON THE FIRST FLOOR (Although that would be expensive) and either create a campus quad where the former parking spots were or sell them to developers for urban infill. If CCRI decides to relocate their Liston campus to somewhere else in providence, It should be in the knowledge district due to the fact that it’s more accessible to transit, It’s common sense stuff.
