Police in Taunton are investigating a crash that sent a city man to the hospital with serious injuries.
Lt. Paul Roderick said in a news release that the victim, 49-year-old Nicholas Fabiano, was struck by a truck in the area of 470 West Britannia Street at about 10:46 Friday morning.
There has been an alarming number of crashes involving pedestrians in the last few weeks; including in Providence, Dartmouth, Taunton, and West Greenwich.
Cynthia MacDonald, 63, sustained significant injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
According to police, the 10-year-old was struck at about 5:30 p.m. on Fruit Street.
