Case No. 18-028MA – 288 Blackstone Boulevard, 315 and 325 Slater Ave (Master and Preliminary Plan) – Applicant: The Bilotti Group, Inc. – The applicant is proposing to subdivide three lots, together measuring approximately 129,182 SF (2.9 acres) in the R-1 and R-1A zones, into 10 lots intended for single family residential development. The applicant is proposing to demolish the building at 15 Euclid Avenue to construct a new four story, 18 unit building which will be connected to the building at 23 Euclid Avenue. The subject lots will be merged. A design waiver from the requirement that the bottoms of window frames shall not be higher than two feet above grade is being requested. The site is zoned C-2 under the I-3E overlay – for action (AP 13 Lots 43 and 240, College Hill)

Case No. 19-002MI – 12-16 Piedmont Street – Applicant: Federal Hill Partners LLC – The applicant is proposing to demolish a building at 12-16 Piedmont Street to construct a four story, 20 unit residential building, which will be an addition to a building on 406-408 Atwells Avenue. The subject lots will be merged, with pedestrian access to the building provided from Piedmont Street. A design waiver from the requirement that the bottoms of window frames shall not be higher than two feet above grade is being requested. The site is zoned C-1, pending a zone change for 16 Piedmont Street (lot 527), which is currently zoned R-3 – for action (AP 28 Lots 526 and 527, Federal Hill)
I really wish items 4 and 5 were to build something on the vacant dirt lot on the opposite corner of Piedmont and Atwells, rather than tearing down a house to building a new house. Sigh.

Agreed, Jef. Regardless, I’m thrilled to see medium-scale infill development happening in neighborhoods. Development like that gets me way more excited than the possibility of a 46-story luxury tower.
