The first Providence Art Festival was in late spring of 2009 along Westminster St. in Downcity Providence. It was a beautiful day, there were amazing arts and crafts to be had, fun music, delicious food, complimentary craft tables for kid’s and lots of smiling faces! Subsequent years came with ease, and the festival seems to get better each year, thanks to amazing artists, delicious food, a great group of sponsors including Providence Monthly and WBRU, a hard working team of organizers, and a beautiful downcity backdrop!
At the Providence Art Festival, you will find everything from handmade jewelery to street performers; baby clothes to photography; from kids activities to delicious local food vendors to live music. Spend the entire day exploring over 100 vendors. You’re sure to take home some amazing goodies.
With over 100 local artists musicians, food vendors, and activities for all ages; Providence Art Festival is becoming a New England favorite in its third year.
