Last part of my morning walk in the snow. From Downcity up Broadway and back to Atwells.
There was this giant snow pile on Eddy Street, then I went to Kennedy Plaza, then I got coffee.
I just went out in the snow to take a few photos. My hands have just about thawed. Share:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens...
The one where they pushed the snow into the walkway. I’ll just bet the sidewalks that surround the other three sides of that lot aren’t plowed out either.
In those cases I want a re-write of city ordinance – lots like that – $10,000 per offense for not removing snow from public walkways. Because let’s face it, all it will take is ONE parking lot owner to get hit with a $10K fine and from then on pedestrian walkways will ALWAYS be cleared of snow.
And I just emailed Councilman Principe about the overpasses of I-95 on Atwells and Broadway.
I used ProvConnex today for a submittal about the horrible snow removal (or lack there of) along South Main St.
How is it we still don’t know how to shovel out this city? My driveway is all asphalt right now – zero snow – yet the city seems to need to be retrained on how to do a basic plow?
