Wait, Knight St. only from Westminster to Broadway? So the washboard from Atwells to Broadway isn’t’ getting done? And it’s going to cost $136K to do that segment, damn!
Knight is being repaved from Broadway to Swiss (not sure why they’re not going all the way to Atwells). They’ve already begun prep work, protecting the street trees.
Yeah, I noticed the tree protection. But Swiss to Atwells isn’t bad, it’s once you get past it’s a freaking washboard.
Academy Ave has been completely torn up between Smith and Chalkstone (I haven’t been south of Chalkstone recently to see if it goes farther). They’re also prepping Pleasant Valley Pkwy to make it one way on either side of the stream. That project has been years in the making.
the city just finished paving chalkstone ave, maybe three weeks ago.. today, the gas company is already digging up the newly paved road, working on gas lines.. not even three weeks and already being dug up.. only in RI
And guaranteed National Grid will do a craptastic job patching the hole causing it to sink in. And the city won’t do a damn thing about it because the city has no balls to stand up to National Grid (the utilities are responsible for making sure their patch jobs are done properly).
make a call to the appropriate department and tell them how u want the patchwork to work
