Can I get a motion to dissolve the Commission? 35 years and there are still empty parcels within a stone’s throw of the busiest MBTA station outside of Boston. We have a state-employee bank branch and now a parking lot where an apartment tower with 1st floor retail should be. Acres of surface lots. The commission—as most bureaucratic boards tend to be—is an impediment to progress. Lets end it.
I pretty much agree, there’s no reason the CPC and DRC cannot act as the review authority for projects in this area.
